The new 'Mirtoo' module is now available for orders. Sporting a fully
functional computer on a single 25x25mm module, it becomes the
undisputed choice for a number of embedded applications both at
professional and hobby level as well as robotic projects.
The module is able to directly drive small motors or
power LEDs and acquire digital or analogue data without the need of any
external components! It can be directly powered from a range of battery
sources without the need of an additional power converter. By using its
flexible internal bus, the system can be further expanded or able to
communicate with the outside world via plenty of possible interfaces:
UART, USB, I2C,
SPI or the newly developed mSPI®.
We believe in simplicity and that is a major feature of
the Mirtoo module. It comes in an easy to be used by the average
hobbyist package, and yet is convenient and powerful enough to be
included into complex professional designs as well.
The module comes in three
distinctive flavours: 'blank', ready to be programmed with a custom
made user firmware, or with pre-loaded firmware featuring small C and
Basic interpreters and terminal interface, thus allowing the user to
develop, store and execute applications by using a serial terminal only
and without the need of any external compiler just as that was done on
the personal computers some years ago. These features also make
the module very suitable for early education in microprocessor systems.
DTX1-4000L is an open-circuit
module that opens up a new world in front of the developers to easily
give life to their ideas and come up with various expansions and
applications.
The 'blank' version is ready for
orders, soon to be followed by the release of the other two with
built-in interpreters. Programming manuals for the C and Basic
interpreters as well as example projects will be published after their
release.

We are proud to announce the release to the
market of our first own branded product: the new DTX1-1110L PCB
module. Boasting with very small 25x25mm size, the module provides the
embedded system designers with everything they need to communicate with
the electronics of modern day vehicles using J1850VPW, J1850PWM,
ISO9141-2, ISO14230 or ISO15765 protocols. DTX1-1110L is built around
the STN1110 OBD-to-UART interpreter and includes all the required
external components to bring a fully all-in-one solution at a very
competitive price.
DTX1-1110L can be successfully used in any kind
of equipment that needs to employ OBD-II communication, such as data
logging devices, engine tuning, diagnostic rigs and others, optimising
the project complexity, development cost and physical size.
Samples are currently available.
